Terms and Conditions

When making a booking request via the form, any booking which comes from that submission, I hereby agree to the terms and conditions for that booking.

I hereby agree that with my payment I have read and understood the following terms and conditions:

  • I understand that my credit card will be charged for the full amount of my rental agreement.

  • I am responsible for the return of this equipment in the same condition in which I received it.

  • I agree to pay in full for any repairs or replacement if the equipment is damaged or lost.

  • Late returns will be charged £15 per hour.

  • I am aware that Stand Up Paddleboarding (“SUP”) and/or kayaking poses potential risks and I am aware of the dangers of SUP/kayaking.

  • I understand that Hele Bay Adventures (“HBA”) is in no way responsible for my safety or the safety of the equipment I am renting.

  • I am fully responsible for my own safety and for the equipment.

  • I agree to assume all risks in connection with the use of the equipment, whether foreseen or unforeseen and whether or not caused by the fault or negligence of “HBA” and its employees.

  • I also agree to release “HBA” and its employees from all liability for any harm, injury, or damage, which may befall myself, or the equipment I rent.

  • Any medical conditions or medications are to be brought to HBAs attention at the time of the booking

  • I agree the HBA have the right to cancel due to bad weather conditions. A full refund will be given or in some cases a voucher of the full payment of your booking.

  • I agree to repair or replace in a manner acceptable to “HBA” any of the equipment damaged while I am renting it.

  • I have fully informed myself of the contents of this agreement by reading before I signed.

  • On arrival all clients must be free of any drugs or alcohol. If failure to do so HBA reserve the right to cancel the booking with no refund

  • I REALISE THE IMPORTANCE OF WEARING A FLOTATION DEVICE/LIFE JACKET, LEASH AND ALL OTHER PROTECTIVE AND LIFESAVING CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT AND I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE BEEN OFFERED THE USE OF ALL WHICH IS REQUIRED AND I HAVE BEEN STRONGLY ADVISED TO WEAR AND/OR USE THESE AT ALL TIMES.

Hele Bay Adventures reserve the right to cancel a booking because of adverse weather or sea conditions, or for any other safety reason. In this instance, an alternative trip/hire or full refund will be offered.

 

Should the client wish to cancel a booking, the following refunds will apply on receipt of written notice via email:

 

  • At least 3 weeks’ notice before the booked session – 100% of the total fee

  • At least 2 weeks’ notice before the booked session – 75% of the total fee.

  • At least 1 weeks’ notice before the booked session – 50% of the total fee.

 

Refunds are not available in whole or in part for unused sessions due to client late arrival, illness, accident, or for any other cause outside the control of Hele Bay Adventures.

 

Group trips require a minimum of two people to run. Where this minimum is not met, an alternative trip or refund will be offered.
